L'Echappee Belle Bed & Breakfast - Chartres

This venue is in a great location near a park, offering lovely double rooms with large windows and a satisfying breakfast.

Location: the hotel was close enough to easy walking distance away, and the magnificent cathedral of Chartres. It also was close to center. The room was airy and spacious and since it had hypoallergenic pillows I slept like a baby. Garden view was worthy.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed & breakfast. L'Echappee Belle offers a beautifully presented breakfast each morning, with a wide variety of delicious options. the table is always inviting and the atmosphere serene, setting us up nicely for our days of exploring the enchanting city. the location is perfect, with a lovely park just across the road. It's a pleasant walk through the park to reach the heart of the city and its ancient sites. the room itself was spacious, elegantly designed, and quiet, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful night's sleep. the host, Coraline, was always available and provided excellent service. We even had the option to park our car in the courtyard for a small fee. it was the perfect choice for discovering the beauty of the city. Cons: For us, it was an ideal stay! 😊.

The period house is located in a serene walled garden, opposite a small park with footpaths that lead to the heart of the city. the owner, Coraline, and her family were incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome. They even provided a safe parking space in the driveway. the rooms were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the continental breakfast was generous, offering a wide variety of breads, cheeses, fruits, teas, and coffee. The highlight was the scenic walk through the park to explore Chartres. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.

The room in this beautiful building was absolutely stunning, with large windows and a lovely en suite shower room. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, even arranging for me to park my car in the gorgeous courtyard. The location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to the cathedral. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was spacious and clean, with a nicely renovated bathroom. The host was nice and the included breakfast got us started for the day. The location was great, within easy walking distance of the main attractions in the city. We also appreciated the free parking available at the hotel, which made it convenient for us to explore the city without worrying about our car.

We didn't get the best sleep during our stay. The bed made noise whenever we moved, and the floor creaked a lot when we had to use the toilet.

The breakfast could have been improved by offering more selection of hot items.

The room we stayed in had a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, which was great for our family. It also had a tea/coffee maker, fireplace, and a tile/marble floor, giving it a cozy and luxurious feel.

One thing we didn't particularly love was that the room had an electric kettle.
